The estimate was in line with others I had received.  I went with McMillen because of their reputation.  Scheduling was very simple and installed my new air conditioning within a week of signing contract.  They arrived on time and worked very hard the entire time.  They completed the project the same day.  The air conditioning unit was neatly placed and looks fantastic.  They ran the air (even though it was 50 degrees outside) just to make sure everything worked.  They took the time to explain the new thermostat.  The area was cleaned after they were finished. Search no further, I Highly recommend McMillen Heating and Cooling. They made our experience of having a new AC unit installed great!!! They were very accommodating as we had to change our appointment a few times due to having work done around the perimeter of our house. I would give them 10 stars if I could. We thought our furnace wasn’t working, so I gave them a call. He was to our house that morning, within two hours, and we live 45 minutes to an hour from Dover. It turned out that nothing was wrong with the furnace, but that the gas to the house from the well had been interrupted and that’s why things weren’t heating. He showed me what to do, gave me lots of information about what might cause it and when I’d need to call the well company if/when it happened again. He walked me through which settings we should be running the furnace (our house is confusing). He also relit the gas water heater for me, which was very nice of him and not something he had to take the time to do. He also talked me through other things in our house that run on gas, to see if I’d need to worry about relighting any of those. In sum, I called about the furnace, but now I have much more information about the furnace, the gas line from the well and it’s connection to the house, and the water heater.
